Caffe D’Arte roast their own beans. It is a little more European in profile. The coffee flavor is full, dark, but not bitter.
Their Baristas have excellent Latte Art skills. And they are serious about their coffee and their Barista pedegree.
While they use a Nuova Simonelli, I can tell you that theirs is tuned likie a race car. My shot came out oozing slow, thick, dark, and rich. It goes to show how a finely tuned machine can pump out great shots. On the other hand, I have had coffee from a Strada elsewhere that is not worth drinking. I was so surprised at the quality that I went back 2 different days, and the shot was amazing both times.
This is not a fancy place and lacks the hip feel. But that is not who they are. Definitely worth a try. I ended up purchasing the beans too!
