A cute store in the Heights area that has that West coast vibe. Comfy cool is how I describe the place.
They do a decent job with the milk as I watched them make lattes for other patrons.
Obviously the Heights is kind of like the emerging new Montrose area of Houston or the Mission District of SF.
Catalina would be a legit choice for coffee no matter where one is in Houston, it’s just that Houston is do darn big! But it’s worth the drive. One of the better real coffee lovers independent cafes. So check it out.
