The first time I visited, it was quite a pleasant surprise. My experience tells me that the coffee scene in Dallas is starting to really raise its bar.
First I had their 2×2. Both were single origin espressos. One was Columbian (their own roast profile – more traditional) the other was an Ethiopian that was very floral and sweet. I also tried a cortado, a cappuccino, and a iced pour over single origin. Basically I had a great time there.
The owners (Nathan & John) started their journey and love of coffee long ago by working in coffee shops and later became baristas. Now they roast various beans from Columbia and Ethiopia behind the shop. They also supply their beans to local coffee shops. Jared their barista is easily one of the best ones in Dallas.
Their shop/Kiosk shares a space with a taco/mexican restaurant. On the same strip center is a very good burger/beer joint and capped at the other end by a very new but excellent casual seafood restaurant.
For Fido lovers, the seating area outside is DOG friendly. So what else do you need, 4 great places for all that you might want to eat, and you can caffeine up and geek out about coffee. So great coffee is not the only reason to go there.
Easily one of the best coffee places to go in Dallas.
