Epicenter uses good coffee. They also know coffee and shot making. As a result, you will get a good cup of espresso based shot.
Service however is not as good as the coffee. They seem to be a bit on the let’s take care of you and be done kind of service. Not as friendly as most other coffee places.
They do have wifi and you can hang there and work. The cafe is not new, so it lacks the crispness of the newer cafes. Nor is it rustic old, so it is not exactly charming. But it is comfy.
In general the cafe is nice, the beans for my espresso was Ethopian from Worka Union, roasted by Barefoot Coffee Roasters. The extraction was dark and rich, with no hint of bitterness. A bit twinge of sweetness, and berry flavors. Syrupy in consistency. The Linea did a good job with the beans. I credit the barista.
