Mercury is a neighborhood cafe in the Hayes Valley area of SF. This is where the original Blue Bottle Kiosk started.  Hayes is a very cool and rapidly developing area.   But Mercury go back beyond the new coolness of Hayes Valley.

Mercury Cafe is a corner neighborhood cafe that serves the neighbors.  It is not a mega new store like the Mill on Divisadero or large like Sightglass.   While small, the windows face the east and the sun just powers through in the morning.

There are plenty of seating for all, and for charm and good coffee around the corner, this is a good place to hang out.
