Blue Bottle Coffee in Dallas? Yes.
This cafe is in a beautiful setting. It is in Highland Park Village, adjacent to the Tom Thumb, on the Preston side.
It is a combination of a boutique, an organic cafe, a coffee purveyor all wrapped up in a beautiful store.
The baristas are well trained, the coffee is as expected from Blue Bottle very good, the food is unique and amazing.
If you don’t drink coffee, choose one of their many juices.
The place is well lit, green, comfy, and the service is second to none. I have already been back 3 days in a row. That is how much I like it.
Joe Satarino ran the coffee that day and my shots were very good. Abby Pilgreen and Laura Leehadi introduced me to all their food offerings. They even make their own almond milk!
So for healthy food, comfy surrounds, great service, ladies clothing, invigorating juices, all packaged nicely. This is a great place to go.
Since my first review, I have been back at least a half a dozen times. Each time I have noticed slight changes in staffing. The baristas have changed and yes I understand that they are hard to keep especially when Dallas is going through a growth period of coffee shops. But gone are the original bunch that are so friendly and awesome. The coffee too is changing some even though it is still blue bottle. Baristas have a good deal of influence on the extraction of a cup of espresso.
This is still a very nice place to go and certainly when in Highland Park Village area, this is a great place to stop by. But as a café, the place has passed its peak. It’s still very good.
