The Conservatory is old school charm with jars of tea on shelves and bulk bags of coffee beans laying on the ground.

They really are a neighborhood coffee and tea place that serves the Culver City area. Incidentally, this is really pretty central LA because it is just a bit NE of LAX.

Their beans and selections are better than most. But they are limited in coffee to an older Linea that is not finely tuned to extract the best of shots.

I found the place quaint and full of charm, but I was disappointed as it came to the espresso based drinks.

I would still go and hang out because it is causal and full of interesting people.
