Off Northwest Highway east of Central, this is a very easy place to get to if you are on the north side of White Rock Lake. It cannot be more than 1/4 mile from the dog park.
The have an small outdoor seating area plus an upstairs mezzanine for plenty of people to hang out. The place is comfortable and relaxed. While it is not a modern state of the art 3’rd wave coffee house, where patrons geek out on equipment and brew methods, many of the better barista’s in Dallas got their start here.
The coffee tends to be more European in its roasting profile and the latte art missing, but I would count this an independent worth trying especially when you are at the lake.
